期刊团队于2018年成立。系刊的名称为ECHO-ENG，谐音Echoing，其名字的灵感来源于Echo女神，代表着学生的作品反映了他们的所学所想，同时logo的设计灵感取自校园一侧呼唤的吹台山三峰，愿我们的声音在ECHO-ENG这个期刊平台被聆听、相回响。 2019年4月16日，温肯第一本学生系刊诞生，收录了16篇学术论文。 2019年12月，第二期刊物顺利发表，聚焦于创意写作。 2021年5月，第三刊新鲜发布，收录了英文短篇小说、诗歌创作等不同体裁。 2023年11月，第四刊在感恩节发布，收录多类创意写作作品，同时包含2022年科幻写作比赛杰出创作。                                                                           2024年第五刊发布会正在筹备中。 2025年第六刊征稿即将开始于4/18-10/18, 2025 欢迎在4月18号后浏览并遵循本页“文件下载”中“第六刊征稿指南 Issue 5 Submission Guidelines”向我们邮箱echo-eng@wku.edu.cn投稿! The journal team was established in 2018. The title of the journal, ECHO-ENG, is a homophone of “echoing,” and draws inspiration from the nymph Echo, symbolizing how students’ works reflect their learning and thoughts. The logo design was inspired by the three peaks of Chuitai Mountain, visible from one side of the campus, evoking the hope that our voices may be heard and echoed through the platform of ECHO-ENG. On April 16, 2019, the first student journal at Wenzhou-Kean University was published, featuring 16 academic papers. In December 2019, the second issue was successfully released, with a focus on creative writing. In May 2021, the third issue was published, showcasing English short stories, poetry, and various literary genres. In November 2023, the fourth issue was released on Thanksgiving Day, presenting a wide range of creative writing pieces, including outstanding works from the 2022 science fiction writing contest. Preparations for the release of the fifth issue in 2024 are currently underway. The call for submissions for the sixth issue will be open from April 18 to October 18, 2025.
