ECHO-ENG英文期刊
学生团体介绍
The name and logo draw inspiration from the Chuitai Mountains sitting next to WKU, symbolizing the way literature reflects the depth of thought and stirs the soul to contemplation. Like the three towering summits of the Chuitai Mountains, we lie upon the earth and call unto the sky; with our voices echoing through the valleys and rising above, we will be heard. Our journal, ECHO-ENG, embraces the art of writing in its many forms—fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, plays, electronic literature, and student research papers: Volume 1 of ECHO-ENG, published on April 16, 2019, featured 16 research papers by WKU English major students. Volume 2, released in December 2019, showcased creative writing, all written and edited by WKU students. Volume 3, published in May 2021, highlighted diverse genres, including English short fiction and poetry. Volume 4, released on Thanksgiving Day 2023, featured creative works from English major courses and selected pieces from the WKU Science Fiction Writing Contest. On April 28, 2025, Volume 5 was published, featuring thought- provoking literary works from WKU students, alumni, and an exchange student from Kean University, along with the winning entries from the WKU Travel Writing Contest. Now ECHO-ENG Volume 6 is open for submissions! We cordially invite submissions from all voices and look forward to your creativity and insight that will enrich future issues. Please check the "2025 Submission Guidelines第六刊" on the same page in the "Activity" Section.
